Alaska Resort LLC is a hotel and hospitality complex located near Tsaghkadzor, a spa town and urban municipal community is one of the most popular health and ski resorts in Armenia, located north of the capital Yerevan in the Kotayk Province. The resort consists of a main building with hotel rooms as well as five luxury cottages for more spacious accommodation. The resort also has restaurant and event facilities, which are frequently used for corporate and private events. The open / garden area also includes open barbeque facilities and Gazebos.
The hospitality facility is nestled an area that is famous for its nature and its focus on health and recreation and the preservation of the environment is naturally part of the company’s philosophy. As an additional step to decreasing the environmental liability of the facility, the company took a EU4Business-EBRD Credit Line loan to invest in a Solar PV system, using the fast LET process. The rooftop installation will save just over 200 MWh per year.
